Research Success and Support
There are many places on campus to get support for doing innovative research as a student. Here are just a few options you can explore in addition to support from the IDEA Center.
Research Workshops
Find all workshops and events that are hosted or sponsored by the IDEA Center. Content covers research skills, research management, publihing, and soft skills. Additionally, external research opportunities for undergraduates will be posted as well. Check out our Research and Creative Expression Certificate Page.
Research and Creative Expression Certificate
You can now be recognized for your participation in our IDEA Center: Discovery Workshop series with the Research and Creative Expression Certificate. This certificate can be displayed as part of your resume, vita, cover letter, or any place where including your professional development credentials may be useful.
Classroom Visits
IDEA Center staff are available to feature as guest speakers in classes and for student club or honor societies. Topics can include general IDEA Center overviews, research skill topics, or soft skills that can enhance a student's ability to be a successful researcher. Faculty and students may also request staff visits to courses or student club meetings.
